Vintage Frankart Art Deco Metal Elephant Bust Head Ashtray dish w Glass Insert sculpture coin tray. This was originally designed to be used as an ashtray but certainly can be re-purposed today as a trinket/coin dish or whatever else you can think of. Very cool piece that is bound to get interest from your friends. Measures approximately 7″ x 6-1/2″ x 6-1/4 and weighs just under 2 pounds. Condition is consistent with age and use, The glass dish is sound however it does have two edge chips and a small stress crack. I put glass glue on the stress crack to stablize. One could easy get harden clay and fill in the edge chips. You dont really see it when you positioned it in the back. Also, I see a hole in the case way back in the mouth. Can’t see it when in normal setting. Pretty much have to look for it. Not sure if that is factory defect. However, with bonding filler easy to fix. Normal signs of a past life and use. But overall great looking piece with nice patina age.
