Somali Republic Elephants Drinking 100 Sh 2013 1oz Gilded silver coin C257
Somali Republic – Elephants Drinking – 100 Sh – 2013 – 1 Troy Ounce Gilded Silver Coin – DM Prooflike. I have recently decided to put my coin and bar collection up for sale one piece at a time. Either these pieces sell and I’m able to pay rent next month… Or I die and my collection goes to my Granddaughter. So, if you aren’t happy with my asking price, feel free to shoot me an offer, but please don’t complain. No need for that. I tried the white glove treatment but it’s too bulky and slows things down so I handle my silver with clean dry hands. Lighting can be tricky so I try to capture each coin or bar at different angles to show you as much as I can. Some coins and bars have toning, while others have some milk spots. I’m told that those spots can develop at any time, so please be aware of this. When I notice a blem of any sort, you will see them in my images or I will point it out in my description. If I do not respond, that means your answer is right here in the listing. If you show disrespect in my direction, you will be blocked from doing future business with me. I have neither the time nor the patience for disrespectful humans… You will receive exactly what is described and shown in photos. If you do not, then we have a problem and I’d like to know about it asap. Unless otherwise stated, I’ve not used or tested this item. Making an offer? Feel free to take advantage of the offers you and I have towards negotiating. Don’t like the total you see? I drive to the post office to get your item(s) safely handed off, so that takes time, gas and wear/tear on my truck. If your package gets lost or destroyed, you’re covered for the amount paid. NO local pickups, unless otherwise specified in the listing. Quite costly in time and gas. From time to time, I lose items. I try to stay organized, but sometimes it happens. I do not use a telephone to communicate… Emails stay on my computer, giving us both accurate records of what has been said. Besides, I’m getting old and have a bad memory. No time to chat on the telephone (I’m a Grandpa now). I’m a “ONE MAN SHOW” over here. I’m not a large company and I have no employees. I do it all. Please visit my Facebook page / Elvis’ Place FXR HarleyDavidsonMotorcycleParts. Also on Instagram: e_barton_aka_elvis. For those of you that do, I applaud you, as it seems there are fewer and fewer of you out there. I have my entire financial future invested into my inventory. Yes, my “retirement” plan is on my shelves. My place of business is located in an expensive part of planet Earth. Overhead keeps going up. I’m not rich. I own no property. I own no home. Thanks for keeping this a smooth and simple process.

Julius Caesar ELEPHANT WEAPON Military Mint NGC Choice Ancient Silver Roman Coin
Roman Imperatorial Coin Julius Caesar, as Dictator (49-44 BC). (19mm, 3.97 gm, 9h). Military mint traveling with Caesar in northern Italy, circa 49-48 BC. Choice VF Strike: 4/5 – Surface: 4/5. CAESAR, Elephant advancing right, trampling horned serpent. Culullus, Aspergillum, Ecuris (axe surmounted by dog or wolf’s head), and Apex. See the Genuine History Collection. Gaius Julius Caesar (12 July 100 BC – 15 March 44 BC) was a Roman general and statesman. A member of the First Triumvirate, Caesar led the Roman armies in the Gallic Wars before defeating his political rival Pompey in a civil war, and subsequently became dictator from 49 BC until his assassination in 44 BC. He played a critical role in the events that led to the demise of the Roman Republic and the rise of the Roman Empire. In 60 BC, Caesar, Crassus, and Pompey formed the First Triumvirate, an informal political alliance that dominated Roman politics for several years. Their attempts to amass political power were opposed by many in the Senate, among them Cato the Younger with the private support of Cicero. Caesar rose to become one of the most powerful politicians in the Roman Republic through a string of military victories in the Gallic Wars, completed by 51 BC, which greatly extended Roman territory. During this time he both invaded Britain and built a bridge across the river Rhine. These achievements and the support of his veteran army threatened to eclipse the standing of Pompey, who had realigned himself with the Senate after the death of Crassus in 53 BC. With the Gallic Wars concluded, the Senate ordered Caesar to step down from his military command and return to Rome. In 49 BC, Caesar openly defied the Senate’s authority by crossing the Rubicon and marching towards Rome at the head of an army. This began Caesar’s civil war, which he won, leaving him in a position of near-unchallenged power and influence in 45 BC. After assuming control of government, Caesar began a programme of social and governmental reform, including the creation of the Julian calendar. He gave citizenship to many residents of far regions of the Roman Republic. He initiated land reforms to support his veterans and initiated an enormous building programme. In early 44 he was proclaimed “dictator for life” (dictator perpetuo). Fearful of his power and domination of the state, a group of senators led by Brutus and Cassius assassinated Caesar on the Ides of March (15 March) 44 BC. A new series of civil wars broke out and the constitutional government of the Republic was never fully restored. Caesar’s great-nephew and adopted heir Octavian, later known as Augustus, rose to sole power after defeating his opponents in the last civil war of the Roman Republic. Octavian set about solidifying his power, and the era of the Roman Empire began. Caesar was an accomplished author and historian as well as a statesman; much of his life is known from his own accounts of his military campaigns. Other contemporary sources include the letters and speeches of Cicero and the historical writings of Sallust. Later biographies of Caesar by Suetonius and Plutarch are also important sources. Caesar is considered by many historians to be one of the greatest military commanders in history. His cognomen was subsequently adopted as a synonym for “Emperor”; the title “Caesar” was used throughout the Roman Empire, giving rise to modern descendants such as Kaiser and Tsar. He has frequently appeared in literary and artistic works. The Green Caesar, posthumous portrait from the 1st century AD, now located at the Altes Museum in Berlin.
